Thank you to everyone who came to our party!
It was disguised as a celebration of two ‘noughty’ birthdays, but really…
…it was a recognition of the delight and good fortune of having lots of family & friends to party with; a thank you for my wife and both our ‘kidults’; a rejoicing in our neighbourhood and church communities; and a recognition of many friendships from the past 35-40 years.
A special “telling off” for all you lovely people who disobeyed instructions and brought us a gift. It was rather busy and not easy to keep track of things – and one or two items were not labelled, including a lovely bottle of champagne & some very sophisticated bottles of vino. So if you don’t get a personal thank you, sorry – but please realise we’re grateful for each and every ‘contribution’!
Thank you too, for those brought something for the bar but went home empty handed despite there being an excess. We’ll start working through as many of you as possible with personal invitations, to come and help us work through the stocks we’ve been left with
