Kingston is southwest of Central London
And south of Richmond upon Thames

Driving?

It’s about 5 minutes’ drive into the park from Hampton Wick/Kingston Bridge.
There is plenty of FREE PARKING.

Public Transport?

You’ll need to get to the Hampton Wick entrance to the park near Kingston Bridge.

From there it’s a 20-30 minute walk through the park. A delightful stroll in good weather, but if you need it, a local taxi might help.

Important: it’s NOT a good idea to walk along the river from Hampton Court Station or Kingston – pedestrian gates into the park are not always open.

Trains & Buses

Closest station is  Hampton Wick (regular trains from Waterloo – via Richmond & Kingston).
Further away is Hampton Court Station – a particularly long walk or an easier bus ride.

Buses in the area (281, 285, 481, 111, 216 & 411) all pass close to the Hampton Wick gate.
