The Word Suggester is a (prototype) practice aid.

It’s an Excel file. You download & open it on your computer. It should work in Excel on both Windows and Mac computers.

It gives random selections from a small database of short words, which helps you practise common letter sequences, without the danger of doing ‘brute repetition’ (the same words repeatedly, in an identical order).

Note: you are still welcome (encouraged, even!) to think up your own words to practise (in addition to those suggested by this tool). Keep your chosen words short & simple. And as varied as possible.

And remember: one good way to do practice which is similar, but different, is to group several words together which have similarities of spelling (ie a common letter sequence within them,
eg: TAG BAG SAG MAG or VARY MARY WARY
